When is the perfect time to start taking care of your skin? Is it when you start to see wrinkles? When it starts to bother you? The answer, in my humble opinion, is right now. There is no age that you reach that it now […]Read More
Monthly Favourites – March 2017
MY FIRST EVER MONTHLY FAVOURITES
Now this is something I have always wanted to do. I am bursting with happiness writing this post, whenever I used to think about becoming a beauty blogger I would always imagine what I might put in my monthly favourites. Now I can stop imagining and start doing.
1. Boots Botanics Cleansing All Bright Toner
Quite obviously, this product is from Boots’ very own botanics skincare range. I picked this up on offer from Boots for £2.50. However, as I said in my previous blog post, going bold, whenever I pick up a product for a price as low as that I am always very sceptical. Although I do always give them a fair chance to impress. After reading an article about how it is important to close up your pores with a toner after a bath to avoid any dirt getting into them, I knew I had to purchase one. I have been using this every night on my skin after wiping away all of my make-up & when getting out of the bath. I would definitely recommend trying this product for anyone looking for an inexpensive toner. – Here
2. Loreal Studio Pro Heat It – Hot & Big Heat Spray
Blown away. My words to describe how I feel about this product, after a chat with my hairdresser (and best friend – they are one and the same) I knew I needed to take better care of my hair. So I picked up this heat protector volumising blow drying spray and I love it – I’ve always wanted something to give my hair some more bounce when drying it, and this does just that! – Here
3. St. Tropez Gradual Tan
This is my favourite all time tan. I went through a phase of not wearing any fake tan, literally for a few years, and just relying on the sun to give me some colour. However, considering I live in the UK the weather isn’t a very reliable source when it comes to getting a tan. So, I researched gradual tanners and ended up deciding on the St. Tropez Gradual Tan, new out at the time, I was keen to give it a go. It doesn’t smell too bad, it doesn’t transfer onto my white bed sheets and I even apply this to my face and get an even looking glow. An all round winner for me. – Here
4. Kiko Milano – Face Makeup Fixer
Hairspray for your face. It’s even bottled like a hairspray! Unlike other fixing sprays that sometimes can drench your face and sit on there for a while until they soak in, this fixing spray applies in a mist. Drying instantly and setting all my makeup in for the day – I used to think fixing sprays were a myth, but I’m fully convinced. – Here
5. Marc Jacobs – Daisy travel sizes
This collection of Marc Jobs Daisy travel sized bottles was gifted to me from my parents after they returned from holiday, you have to love duty free. This set makes the perfect gift and provides 4 perfumes in small, cute bottles. I take one of these in my handbag wherever I go so I can always sprouse up my perfume. – Unfortunately I could not find these available online anywhere as they were purchased in duty free.
I absolutely loved writing this blog post and sharing with you some of my favourite items I’ve been using over the past month. I think for April I may try and include some other non-beauty products!
