When is the perfect time to start taking care of your skin? Is it when you start to see wrinkles? When it starts to bother you? The answer, in my humble opinion, is right now. There is no age that you reach that it now […]Read More
Monthly Favourites: June 2017
Monthly Favourites – June 2017
Woohoo a summer favourites post! Like most people, I love summer. I also love adapting my skincare and makeup routine to suit the weather. So I have adapted my skincare and haircare routine including using The Body Source Argan Oil to keep my dry hair in check. See below a list of my monthly favourites for June.
The Body Source Argan Oil
I posted a full review on my blog about this product last week – here! I am obsessed. This is 100% pure and organic argan oil. I use this on my hair to treat bad split ends and as a detangler after getting out of the shower, I don’t think that is what it is intended for but it works so well. This oil is a non-greasy product but be sure to only use a pea sized amount as using too much can make it sit on top of the hair. This is a perfect summer favourite as hair usually gets dry thoughout the summer months and this can add some oil back into it. Loreal Brow Xpert
Again, have I been living under a rock? I know this hasn’t been out that long but this brow product is so amazing! In my opinion so completely underrated. I had been using the Anastasia Beverley Hills dip brow pomade for months but it had dried out, I wanted to branch out so I picked this up from Loreal and I fell in love. It has a spooley on one end of the brush (and a good one at that!) and a slanted nib end for filling in brows. Since using this I have had more compliments on my eyebrows than ever before. I use the shade ‘ebony’ and it matches my hair and brows perfectly. Here
Garnier SkinActive Eye Contour Cream
I recently featured this product in my beauty essentials top up shop post. If you read it, you know how I feel. It really is amazing. The product claims to reduce and prevent fine lines whilst brightening and blurring the under eye area. I haven’t been using this product long enough to say if it does reduce fine lines, I will update you on that though. But the brightening effect is justifiable alone for purchasing this product. I used this after a rough nights sleep on my dark circles and embarrassing eye bags and it just brightened the whole area up, I couldn’t believe it. For a price tag of only £5 it is out of this world. – Here
Zoeva Nude Spectrum Palette
I’ve had this palette for a while now. It was only the other day when I was organising my dressing table draws that I swatched it and realised how wrong I have been to be neglecting it. This is the Zoeva Nude Spectrum Palette, the colours are beautfiful and creamy and pigmented. The swatches below are just one swipe and they are so pretty. It comes in at only £28.50 for all of these shadows! – Here
Short and sweet favourites this month, going into July I will be incorporating some new products into my makeup and skincare routine so I will review those next month!
